Bash Bish Falls State Park

Bash Bish Falls is the highest waterfall in Massachusetts and a popular scenic destination. The dramatic final pitch of Bash Bish Brook drops about 80 feet into an emerald plunge pool.

Enjoy a hike to experience the wonder and beauty of this deep, verdant gorge. Nearby, Taconic State Park in New York state offers more visitor amenities, picnicking, and camping.

Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association

Welcome to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, two sections totaling 26+ paved miles through stunning rural Dutchess and Columbia County landscapes. Since the mid-1980’s, the Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association has dreamed of a 46-mile rail trail in the Harlem Valley and Taconic Hills of eastern New York. The first segment of the trail opened in 1996.

The Harlem Valley Rail Trail extends North from the hamlet of Wassaic to Copake Falls and is growing year by year.

Alander Mountain Trail

Buried in the southwest corner of Massachussetts, hidden in the Berkshires, lies Alander Mountain. It is a small mountain with massive views, rewarding those who climb to its open summit with views into New York, Connecticut and across Massachussetts.Ridge Trail

Alander Mountain lies within the borders of Mount Washington State Forest, a 4000+ acre second generation New England hardwood forest with multiple peaks and exuberant falls.

Mount Riga State Park

Mount Riga State Park is the most common starting point for hikers heading to the Appalachian Trail and Bear Mountain. Bear Mountain is not within the park’s borders and neither is Mount Riga. The actual summit (and the rest of the mountain) of Mount Riga is about 2.5 miles southwest of the state park.

The trailhead is along Under Mountain Rd and so is often called the Undermountain Trail. Only about 1.5 miles fall within the property as it heads towards the Appalachian Trail junction.

Catamount Mountain Resort

Catamount Mountain Resort is a four-season resort straddling the New York and Massachusetts border, located just 2.5 hours from NYC.

Catamount is suited for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Spring, summer and fall bring a range of activities including the longest zipline in North America and one of the largest aerial adventure parks in New England.

Butternut Ski Area and Tubing Center

Located in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, Ski Butternut, is an easy trip from Connecticut, New York City and New Jersey. It provides 110 acres of skiable terrain on 22 trails. 100% of Butternut's trails are covered by snowmaking.

Ski Butternut prides itself on being an affordable family ski area that offers ski and snowboard lessons, ski rentals, and even a 7 lane tubing center. The town of Great Barrington offers a wide variety of great New England dining and lodging options for guests.

Mohawk Mountain Ski Area

This is the oldest and largest ski area in Connecticut, and dubbed "the home of snowmaking." Mohawk has a summit elevation of 1600 feet, 25 trails spread out over 107 acres of skiable terrain and a 650 foot vertical drop.

Mohawk provides night skiing on 12 trails and has snowmaking on 95% of all of their terrain. There is dining at the mountain in the base lodge as well as lodging and dining in the town of Cornwall.

Undermountain Golf Course Inc.

Undermountain is one of the best maintained golf courses in the Copake Roe Jan area.

The small and meticulously maintained greens and narrow fairways offer a challenging layout for the accomplished golfer, yet are non-threatening to the novice.

Copake Country Club

Copake Country Club's stunningly designed 18-hole Golf Course is enveloped by the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, the shores of Copake Lake, and the unparalleled vistas of Columbia County in upstate New York.

The course is fully public and open April - October. The Greens is an amazing American cuisine restaurant that perfectly compliments the beauty of Copake CC and is a perfect spot to have lunch, brunch, dinner or a drink at our full bar.

Nestling in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in north west Connecticut, Lime Rock Park is a short, fast and tough circuit which has become a mainstay of sportscar racing through the years.

Lime Rock Park

1.50 miles of up hill and down dale, a track that looks deceivingly simple, but is immensely challenging to drive quickly.

It holds a place in the trinity of legendary road racing circuits in North America. Wisconsin’s Road America along with California’s Laguna Seca and Lime Rock, are among the oldest continuously operated road racing circuits in the U.S. However, only Lime Rock remains exactly the same as when it opened.
